I graduated from drama school back in 2009, worked a fair bit in theatre and then 4 years later I found myself working at a Stockbrokers in London on the reception desk.
A couple of years went by, and I ended up being promoted to Investor Relations, juggling this role alongside acting jobs that came in. It was tough to say the least, but the firm was supportive, and it meant I could afford to keep doing what I loved.
Fast forward over 10 years to the beginning of 2024, I decided to take the leap to go full time into Acting, mainly working in voiceover.
Although I had spent the last 10 years in an industry that I hadn’t expected to, I picked up a lot of vital skills that I was able to use in my voiceover career, like running my career as a business, marketing to potential clients and the tenacity needed to do all of that. On top of that I was exposed to lots of technical language too.
When I’m asked to record the audio for a Financial Services Company or a Fintech Brand now, for example, I know that I have some understanding of the industry, the jargon and the tone needed, which is really useful!
So, if you’re looking for someone to voice your video in the Finance Sector, I’d love to help!
And if I’m not quite the voice you’re looking for, I can almost certainly recommend someone who is.
Drop me a line and I’d be happy to help.

come in handy?*

before taking the leap to follow a passion?*
